In most cases, a non-booting PC doesn't mean the hard drive has failed. Even the dreaded "Missing Operating System" message doesn't necessarily mean that all is lost. It may simply be that your operating system has become corrupted and, although it can't boot, your data is still safely stored on the hard drive.
If that's the case, no problem, we can easily recover the data, reinstall the operating system and replace the data.
However bad it may seem, let us take a look. In most cases, the news will be good!
